Wishlist Wednesday # 6

     On my Wishlist Wednesday is

How To Be Brave by E. Katherine Kottaras
                How to Be Brave
Reeling from her mother's death, Georgia has a choice: become lost in her own pain, or enjoy life right now, while she still can. She decides to start really living for the first time and makes a list of fifteen ways to be brave - all the things she's wanted to do but never had the courage to try. As she begins doing the things she's always been afraid to do - including pursuing her secret crush, she discovers that life doesn't always go according to plan. Sometimes friendships fall apart and love breaks your heart. But once in a while, the right person shows up just when you need them most - and you learn that you're stronger and braver than you ever imagined
This book is just the kind of book i need especially with the new year coming. I think this book would be a great way to start off the year with.

Contemporary Reviews

Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)

This review is actually a review that is old but i figured I would put it up. At first, I was hesitant going into this book because of the hype it was getting and I didn't want to be let down with high expectations. I was surprised. This book was amazing. I loved everything about it. I loved Anna as a character, she was great at learning from her mistakes and accepting that sometimes friendship is the most powerful way of connecting with someone. The friendship between Anna and St Clair was beautiful. I loved that they really got to know each other and became best friends. I will say i think  the only thing I didn't like was that both Anna and St Clair were indecisive especially st Clair throughout most of the book. Throughout the book  St Clair has a girlfriend while he's hanging out with Anna. I admire Anna because there was one scene where St. Claire was drunk and she tells his friends to call his girlfriend. While this scene is happening, St. Clair admits that he likes Anna. Anna lies to him when he asked if he said anything weird to her to protect their friendship. This book had great quotes and the character development was incredible. I rated this book  5 stars.
Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss #2)

I loved the characters and the plot was similar to Anna. Now, the character of Lola she made me love her in the first part and hate her in the second part. However, she does redeem herself in the end. I loved her parents they added humor into the story. Her best friend Lindsay was great,I adored her because of her idols being Sherlock Holmes and Nancy Drew. The Bell twins were great, I loved Cricket and Calliope both because they each had their own flaws and insecurities. The only things I didn't like were Lola's outfits I mean I understand that she's expressing herself, but they never say how these outfits make her feel about herself or why she needs to wear then.
the other thing was Lola leading both cricket and max on even though max was her bf, she should have been honest with him instead of lying to him.Plus, they could have done a better way of getting rid of him, of course the break up was inevitable.

Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss, #3)
This book was ok. I didn't love it as much as Anna or Lola. The characters felt flat at some parts. One of the themes of the book is identity but I felt that I didn't really know who Isla was. She likes comic books, has an obsessive crush on Josh for three years, and likes to read adventure books. Other than that, nothing else was known unless a supporting character points it out to her. I think i learned more about Josh in the book than Isla. I didn't like the way the relationship was portrayed. It made Isla seem likes those girls that put their boyfriend before anyone and that's what Isla did. In one scene, she chooses to hang out with Josh instead of Kurt who hasn't seen Isla that much since she started dating Josh. Another scene, Kurt and Isla are talking about colleges and Isla says that she's thinking of Daramouth. Kurt than asks what about the other two schools that she wanted and she was throwing everything she worked for. Her grades were slipping and the Barcelona trip was when I didn't like her the most. Both Josh and Isla were impulsive from the beginning, instead of facing the consequences of their own actions because it was something that they both decided well josh more than Isla, she blames it on Kurt and her sister. I thought that Josh was going to be a fling and then she would find someone else. I think the ending would have been better if they have stayed broken up and Isla worked on her self-esteem issues. At times, i felt that they were there just for the sake of being there, being insecure in her relationship when Josh was constantly showing her that he did care for her. The relationship felt very co-dependent in my opinion. There was one scene where Josh is not going to be in school because of the trip and he breaks down crying. I'm sorry but that was melodramatic. It's not like they wouldn't talk at all. There are phones, letters, emails, text messages, skype. I find it hard to believe that they would not be able to talk to each other. That's my review. i have this book 3 stars.

Hello, December

December is here which means Finals, Christmas, and New Years. Finals week is tough because you have to prepare to take finals for all of your classes. This means studying and looking back at all your notes from the semester. Since I know that this is a tough time, i thought that i would share some tips that have helped me in the past when it came to finals or exams in general.
Tip 1: Do not cram everything into one day. It will make you over-stress and you will most likely retain about 30 percent about what you studied.
Tip 2: Make time to study a little bit each day. Whether it's in on the train, in the morning, or at night. Whenever you find time, just study what you can.
Tip 3: You don't have to know every single thing that is going to be on there, just enough that you understand the material. This was the case when it came to my sociology mid-term. My professor said just answer 16 out of the questions the ones you know the most about. I answered the 16 that i knew the most about and passed.
Tip 4: using highlighter and index cards help in a huge way. They help you stay organized with your notes. Also, You don't have to high light everything, just the important details
Tip 5: Breathe and relax.
Tip 6: Going to bed early helps you stay productive.
Tip 7: Eat breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day.
Those are my tips for finals.
I'm going to be listening to Christmas music all week and watching Christmas movies. Maybe read some holiday theme books. Any recommendations?

F.R.I.E.N.D.S Book Tag

I was not tagged by anyone this is just something that i saw a youtuber do on youtube and I thought that I would try it. As you guys all know, I love the show Friends, i'm pretty sure i can quote mostly every line. Anyways, let's start the tag.

Q.U.E.S.T.I.O.N.S-

1. Monica- The one with your favorite perfectionist.
For this one, I choose Hermione from The Harry Potter series. She always has to make good grades, studies constantly for classes and exams

2. Chandler- The one with your favorite comedic relief character.
This one goes to Kenji from The Shatter Me series, He's such a funny guy, he brings the comic relief out of any serious situation. I love him he's one of my favorite side characters.
3. Phoebe- The one with your favorite quirky character.
This goes without saying but Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. She's incredibly quirky like Phoebe. She dances with no shoes, reads magazines upside down, wears a Lion Hat on her head to represent Griffindor.
4. Joey- The one that you wish to be a movie.
Fangirl By Rainbow Rowell, hand downs. I can see it as a indie film. I think it would easy to translate into film. The characters have to be on point. Cat is awkward and shy, Wren is outgoing, Levi is funny and loyal.
5. Rachel & Ross- The one with your OTP.
Katherine and Matthew in the Next Together. This is a new release about a couple who is reincarnated every time. Each timeline they play different people and i loved the storyline.
6. NYC- The one that takes place in a big city.
Landline- Omaha is a big city and most of the book takes place in there.

7. Central Perk- The one with you favorite designated hang-out spot.
The Fault In our Stars- The Funny Bones spot where it's just a giant skeleton and Hazel and Augustus are just sitting there talking.
8. Smelly Cat- The one with your favorite outcast.
Finch from All The Bright Places, I love him he's smart, loyal, funny, outgoing. His determination to always have adventures and find wonders.

9. The Friends- The one with your favorite friend group.
Paper Towns- The dynamic between the friends from Q, Radar, and Ben to Lindsay was so great. I love every scene in the car they had.

10. YOUR Friends- The one where you tag your friends!

Review: Heir of Fire

Heir of Fire Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book. I think this is my favorite out of the entire series so far. I still have to read Queen of Shadows which i will get later this week. Ok, a lot of things were happening in terms of plot and characters. i'm just going to go with the storylines that I felt were important to the plot. The Celeana and Rowan storyline, i loved Rowan, i really did. He was different from Chaol and Dorian. You can tell just by the way he acts around Celena, he doesn't treat her less than him, he treats her as an equal, and pushes her to where her full potential should be. Another thing is he never wants calls her Celeana, he calls her Aelin which is her birth name. I know it's such a small detail but it's important because it shows that Rowan gives her the respect that she deserves as the queen that she. Celeana's past is finally shown to us, and i felt bad for her. From reading her past and everything she went though, her actions in the first book makes sense. The plot with Chaol and Aedion is somewhat important because basically Aedion wants to find Aelin so she can take her rightful place as queen. I love how Aedion calls her his queen. Now on to the new characters which were Manon and Sorcha. Man is one of the witches from the 13 clan. I thought she was an interesting character and i liked how their system was introduced, i liked the dragon riding. Sorcha on the other hand, was a different story i felt that i couldn't connect with her because it seemed like she was just there as a love interest for Dorian. But i guess that's what was needed in order for Dorian to do what he did in the end. I feel like this book was mostly character-driven which i liked because it shows more character development. I can't wait to read Queen of Shadows and see what happens when Celeana confronts her old master along with saving her friends. Also. Aelin and Aedion reunion :) All he wants is to see his cousin.

Riley & Farkle - Everything Has Changed [LOVE STORY 1x01-2x22]

Article about being In love and being in love with the idea of love

http://thoughtcatalog.com/briannaewiest/2013/06/the-difference-between-being-in-love-and-being-in-love-with-love/
I thought this was an interesting article to read because it talks about the difference between being in love with someone and being in love with the idea of love. This is mostly seen in relationships. Now i'm not currently in a relationship but that doesn't mean I don't know  about them. In my experience, from stories that I've heard from friends, family, and best friends i believe that the idea of being in love with love is being in a relationship for the benefits, basically expectations that you have that are met by your significant other. They call you all the time, send you flowers, things like that. But when they stop doing that, the person does not find them attractive any more. The other type of relationship is actually being in love with the person that you are with, accepting them for who they are, the good and bad side. The person is actually wanting to hear about their partner's thoughts, opinions, fears and feelings. I believe that is what actually being in love with someone is.

Johari Window Concept

Johari Window Concept
I learned about this concept yesterday in my communications class. It sounded interesting so i though that i would share it with you guys. The concept is pretty basic. The first is things you and other people know about you. The second is things that are known to you but not to others. The third is things that others know about you or perceive to know that you are not aware of. Finally, the last one is things that are unknown to both you and others. it can be used for anything such as relationships with people when it comes to communication and trust.

Maya's song, Girl Meets World fanfic

The camera was set to record. She was ready. It was going to be difficult, but she’s going to do it. It’s time to let all her feelings out. Even if no one would listen when the video comes out. She’s Maya Hart and she’s not afraid of anything at least until that’s how it used to be.
She sat up straight on her chair, took a deep breathe and spoke,
“ Hi, My name is Maya Hart. This is very weird for me because it’s the first time i’m speaking about this to someone besides Riley, who’s my best friend by the way. Um ok. here we go. I have feelings for Lucas. I tried everything to not have feelings for him because Riley liked him first. That’s what’s you’re suppose to right? Step back to protect your best friend’s feelings. My mantra is Hope is for suckers. At least for me it is. You hope for things, you get disappointed. Anyways, I wanted to explain myself first before i do this.” This song is called White Horse by Taylor Swift”. Since i’m being honest, I actually listen to country songs, i love them because each one of them tells stories. I think this one speaks to me the most given my current situation".
She strummed the chords on her guitar and started to sing.
Say you’re sorry
That face of an angel
Comes out just when you need it to
As I paced back and forth all this time
Cause I honestly believed in you
Holding on
The days drag on
Stupid girl,
I should have known, I should have known

[Chorus:]
I’m not a princess, this ain’t a fairy tale,
I’m not the one you’ll sweep off her feet,
Lead her up the stairwell
This ain’t Hollywood, this is a small town,
I was a dreamer before you went and let me down,
Now it’s too late for you and your white horse to come around

Baby I was naive,
Got lost in your eyes
And never really had a chance
My mistake, I didn’t know to be in love
You had to fight to have the upper hand
I had so many dreams
About you and me
Happy endings
Now I know

And there you are on your knees,
Begging for forgiveness, begging for me
Just like I always wanted but I’m so sorry

Cause I’m not your princess, this ain’t a fairytale,
I’m gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well
This is a big world, that was a small town
There in my rear view mirror disappearing now
And it’s too late for you and your white horse
Now it’s too late for you and your white horse to catch me now

Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa
Try and catch me now
Oh, it’s too late
To catch me now
She finished the song while wiping the tears from her eyes.
“ I’m sorry for getting emotional, um thanks for watching, Until Next time.
She stops the camera, then uploads the video online.
All credit for White Horse goes to Taylor Swift.

Girl Meets World : Lucaya

As you can tell from the title, I ship lucas and maya from the show Girl Meets world. Girl meets  texas parts 1 and 2 aired these last two days. I saw part 3 already yesterday on the WatchDisney app and i'm disappointed with the third part. The writers used Maya as a plot device for Riley and Lucas's relationship. Maya, who has feelings for Lucas since the beginning, her feelings are disregarded completely in the third one. The focus is only on Riley's feelings towards Lucas. I'm going to put some quotes that Maya has said in season 1 and season 2.
" I'm fine believing that nothing much is going to happen to me. Otherwise I'm full of hope. You hope for things you get disappointed".- Season 1, Episode 7
" I'm always okay- Season 1, Episode 13
" He doesn't want to go out with me, He's not going out with me. He's never going out with me" - season 1, episode 20
"Of course, I like you.- Season 2, episode 21.
With the first three quotes, Maya has convinced herself that Lucas is never going to like her the way he does Riley. In the last one, she finally confesses her feelings, this is the first time that she's vulnerable around him. To have this moment with him, and then have it not mentioned at all in the last part is horrible. Maya's feelings are important, she feels with her whole heart. Protect Maya Hart. She's not Riley, She's her own person with her own feelings. Please do not use her feelings as a stepping stone for Riley and Lucas's relationship. It's not fair to her character to have her given hope, to then have it taken away from her.
Due to this, I have made a playlist for Lucaya.
 Speechless- Lady Gaga
Almost Lover- A Fine Frenzy
Gravity- Sara Bareilles
A Drop in The Ocean- Ron Pope
I can't make me love you- Adele
Too Young- Sabrina Carpenter
Say Something-  A Great Big World ft Christina Aguilera
Colors- Hasley
Drive- Hasley
Like Real People Do - Hozier
How To Be A Heart Breaker- Marina and the Diamonds
Treacherous- Taylor Swift
State of Grace- Taylor Swift
You are in love- Taylor Swift
Red-Taylor Swift
Enchanted-Taylor Swift

Review: A Court of Thorns and Roses

A Court of Thorns and Roses A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

i'm going to be honest. The only two things I knew about this book was that it was a beauty and the beast retelling and that fairies were involved. Now throughout reading this book, there was a lot of hype surrounding it in compared to Sarah J. Maas's Throne of Glass series. So I went into this book with low expectations. I was surprised, i ended up enjoying it more than I thought i would. On to the characters, Feyre was an interesting character because most of what she does, she does to provide for her family. Also, the fact that the author chose to make Feyre illiterate, when she could have easily made her be able to read and write. I liked it because it showed an internal struggle in Feyre, she wants to learn it herself but she struggles with it. While I admire Feyre's courage, determination, and loyalty to her family. there were some parts that i felt could have been expanded more. For instance, the relationship between her and Tamlin it seemed that at some points of the book their scenes together felt rushed. Also, the sexual assault scene i did not like how it was handled. Basically, Tamlin tells Feyre not to come out of her room after dark, she does anyways, and he bites her neck. Next day, she feels that it's her fault and she starts to enjoy him doing that. I'm sorry but that does not do it for me. Attacking someone is not romantic, it's assault. I was willing to look her this because of the genre it's a fantasy. When it came to the curse, i was curious to see how they were going to set it up. The curse is not emphasized until the middle towards the end of the book. During this scene, Alis has the nerve to say to Feyre that she was stupid because he could have saved Tamlin. Um most of the first half of the book is her being told about the court, learning about Tamlin and the royal Court, having conversations with him. Not once did he ever mention the curse and Feyre didn't even know about it. So technically, it's their fault because Feyre didn't even know the curse exited. Overall, i liked the ending, it confused me a little bit because of the whole high fae thing. They briefly mention about how to become one, but they don't mention it again. (view spoiler)

The Next Together Book Review

The Next Together by Lauren James

The Next Together Review

Loved this book! It was incredible, it had everything that i wanted from the romance to the different time periods. I love how each time period had it's own story line with the characters. Speaking of the characters, Kate and Matt were amazing in every time period. I think my favorite time period would have to be the 2019 time period because they were a happily married couple. Also, I enjoyed the layout of the book because it included articles, letters, maps, even websites and links. it really makes you feel part of the story. The ending left it open for a sequel and I just found out there is going to be one, called The Last Beginning. I loved this book so much, Thank you Lauren James for writing this amazing book! I can't wait to read the sequel when it comes out.
I highly recommend this book, 5 stars.

On my wishlist Wednesday today is

The Epic Adventures of Lydia Bennet by Rachel Rorick and Rachel Kiley
The Epic Adventures of Lydia Bennet
Before her older sister, Lizzie, started her wildly popular vlog, Lydia was just a normal twenty-year-old plotting the many ways she could get away with skipping her community college classes and finding the perfect fake ID. She may not have had much direction, but she loved her family and had plenty of fun. Then Lizzie’s vlog turned the Bennet sisters into Internet sensations, and Lydia basked in the attention as people watched, debated, tweeted, tumblr’d, and blogged about her life. But not all attention is good…

After her ex-boyfriend, George Wickham took advantage of Lydia’s newfound web-fame, betrayed her trust, and destroyed her online reputation, she’s no longer a naïve, carefree girl. Now, Lydia must work to win back her family’s trust and respect and find her place in a far more judgmental world.

That's what on my wishlist wednesday
What's on yours?

Library Book Haul/Sick

Although, I am sick today, I still got up and went to the library and picked up both Heir of Fire and A Court of Thorns and Roses. Along with printing out my report for one of my classes. If that's not determination, I don't know what is.  I'm excited to be reading both books because they are both from queen Sarah J, Mass. Her writing and characters are brilliant in each and every way possible. Though they each have their own flaws, they're not afraid to accept them. It is one of the things that I admire from them. Sorry this is turning into a really long ramble. I thought I would discuss today those mental health days that i wrote about at the beginning of the month. I took one today, and it felt good. I had two classes today, one at 8 in the morning and another one at 10:30. now, I had done my homework the previous night so I felt good. Until, when I woke up, I could barley speak.Granted, i'm getting over a cold so I thought, I'll manage. But then i wasn't my throat hurt and i was coughing a lot. So I decided to stay home from school. Do I regret it? No I don't because to have to go to school despite how terrible you are feeling is not something I would wish on anyone. I'm sorry but my health comes first before anything.  As long as you do the homework that was assigned that day and get the missed work. Then you will be fine.
Anyways, that's all I wanted to share with you guys. :)

Fall TV shows

Thought  I would switch things around by talking about the shows that I am into this fall.As most of you know, fall means shows are coming back and I have a lot of favorites along with new ones. This list is in no particular order whatsoever.
 1. Brooklyn Nine-Nine- it's a really funny show, i binge-watched the first two seasons on Hulu, it's amazing if you haven't checked it out please do, it's worth it.
2. Once Upon A Time- I love this show, watched the first two seasons on Netflix, can't wait for the 5th season. I am a Captain Swan fan, along with multiple other ships
2. The Vampire Diaries- Steroline is finally going to be canon
3. Dancing with the stars. I did not start watching the show since the first season, but i have recently got into it, my favorite season would have to be season 18. i am excited for season 21 because i'm familar with some of the cast. I'm rooting for Alexa & Mark, Carlos& Whitney, and Derek& Bindi,
4.Scream Queens- i'm excited for this one because it has some of my favorite actresses and Jamie lee Curtis who is queen.
5.Supergirl- I somewhat liked Melissa Benoist as Marley on Glee, she had her moments. I really want to see how she has evolved since Glee, also i have this headcannon that after Glee Marley wanted a new life, changed her name and moved to new city.

Mini- Haul/update

Bonjour!, my friends, i'm in my second semester at college.  I'm taking French, Comunications, Math, and Literature, so I figured speaking french will help me better memorizing the pronounciations, Also, if you guys can recommend any french books, music, or movies, I would really appreciate it. Now, I'm a beginner so nothing too advanced. On to my book mini-haul, as you all know, i pre-ordered The Next Together by Lauren James and it arrived today!

Next up, is Very Good Lives by J.K Rowling
I got this book today while I was looking to buy my textbooks for my classes. This book is basically the speech to Ms. J.K Rowling gave at Harvard that deal with the benefits of  failure and the important of imagination. I started reading this on my way home , 20 pages into it. Really enjoying it
Finally, it's the life- changing magical art of tidying up by Marie Kondo. I have heard many people rave about this book on through youtube, tumblr and goodreads. plus I feel that it's the type of book you read while it's a rainy day.
On library new, both my books Heir of Fire and A Court Of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas are on in transit, i'm excited to finally read those books.
That's all for today guys
Au revoir!

Webseries and School

As you guys all know by now, I love webserie adaptions a lot I'm like obsessed with them. So I thought that I would share some that I am currently watching.
1. Green Gables Fables, Season 2 came out two weeks ago and I'm very excited
2. Project Green Gables, another modern version of Anne of Green Gables with Anne as an African American girl and it's really good, I like this version's interpretation, Anne's accent is beautiful.
3. Project  Dashwood, this is a modern adaption of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility told through Margret"s POV who is the youngest sister of the Dashwood sisters. I thought this is interesting because in most of the adaptions that I've seen, the youngest sister isn't present in the story. It's nice to see the story from her perspective even if she's not one of the main characters.
4. Lovely Little Losers, Sequel to Nothing Much To Do
5.From Mansfield with Love- Adaption of Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
6. In Earnest - Adaption of Shakesspeare
7. Northbound- Adaption of  Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey
These webseries are great to watch after a long day of school and to just relax and fall in love with the characters in the story.

Now on to school, :( the dreaded day is upon us, I start school tomorrow and i'm both excited and nervous. Excited because i'm taking French and I love learning new languages. I can speak English and Spanish, but that doesn't cut it anymore for jobs so I figured learning French will allow me to expand my horizens more. I'm nervous because I don't know how my professors will be. Anyways, that's all for today, wish me luck first day back to school tomorrow Also, because school will be taking most of my time, I may not post as much but I will make time for it over the weekend
and when I get home from school.  Thanks and good luck to anyone who's started school! :)

Wishlist Wednesday # 4

Wishlist Wednesday # 4
Wishlist Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted over at Pen to Paper. This meme is where you showcase one book that is on your wishlist and that you can't wait to get off your wishlist and into your hands.

On my Wishlist Wednesday list is

The Rose Society by Marie Lu
The Rose Society (The Young Elites #2)
Once upon a time, a girl had a father, a prince, a society of friends. Then they betrayed her, and she destroyed them all.

Adelina Amouteru’s heart has suffered at the hands of both family and friends, turning her down the bitter path of revenge. Now known and feared as the White Wolf, she and her sister flee Kenettra to find other Young Elites in the hopes of building her own army of allies. Her goal: to strike down the Inquisition Axis, the white-cloaked soldiers that murdered her love, the Crown Prince Enzo Valenciano.

But Adelina is no heroine. Her powers, fed only by fear and hate, have started to grow beyond her control. She does not trust her newfound Elite friends. Teren Santoro, leader of the Inquisition, wants her dead. And her former friends, Raffaele and the Dagger Society, want to stop her thirst for vengeance. Adelina struggles to cling to the good within her. But how can someone be good, when her very existence depends on darkness?

I chose this book because, I really liked The Young Elites, and I need to know what happens with Adelina and her sister next along with the rebels against the government.

Back To School Advice

Since  school is right around the corner for some of us, or those who have started school already best luck to all of you who have just started. Anyways, I figured I share a little advice for upcoming freshmen in high school or college, it doesn't matter which one you are this applies to any person in school. Ok here we go,
  Freshmen Advice
1. Do not worry about what other people think
I can't stress this enough especially in high school, there are too many people who value more the opinion of other people then their own opinion. Please value yourself, you have opinions, thoughts, and feelings just like every other person has.
2. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day
Breakfast is important to have every morning because one : you will be energized and two: it gets you ready to take on a long day of school.
3. Have a planner
This is a good thing to have because it will help you be more organized when it comes to assignments, deadlines, and exams. For me, I color code my classes in my planner, and it helps me keep track of my assignments.
4. Stay hydrated
As people, we are made up of  20 percent of water therefore, water is good to have handy during a long school day.
5. Mental- Health Days
All this means is that you take a day where you check in on yourself and how you are feeling, if you're feeling stressed, then this is a day where you can let go of your stresses and things like that. I have found that this has helped me in my experience. Now, this does not mean everyday, just once in a while.
That's it for my back to school advice, hope you guys enjoyed it. Good luck to everyone in the school year. :)

Finding Audrey Review

This is my first Sophie Kinsella book and I loved it! It was great, the characters were amazing.Audrey and her family were funny, crazy moments at time but they still loved each other. Audrey'd character development in the book was done well, it never felt rushed. I really liked the documentary aspect of it that she had to do as part of her therapy, it felt like she was a Youtuber.
Her family is hilarious from her mom to her brother, one of m favorite scenes would have to be the mom and frank scenes because they were really funny. Of course, it is a contemporary so there is obviously a love interest that comes in the form of Linus. Now Linus as a character was a good character, his moments with Audrey were sweet. The ice-cream scene was cute. But, I think the only thing I didn't like about him was that he never tried to understand Audrey's anxiety. The dares they did and the way he got mad at her for deciding to do a certain thing. I think that Linus's view on her condition should been shown more, at least in m opinion. It felt like he was just there to be her love interest, and that's fine. but at least try to understand where she's coming from. They all made up with him in the end. The confrontation with Audrey and one of the girls who bullied her was intense because i thought that she was going to have a breakdown. Her fight with Linus before the meeting, was done in a amazing way, it showed Audrey standing up for herself, which unfortunately had to be with him but I feel that that was the push she needed.
The ending was satisfying, i loved how it ended with her talking to the camera and actually being in the documentary. It shows how she's developed from just filming to talking and finally showing her self on camera
